If you've been in shares a long time, and know what you're doing, have looked at the technicals and fundamentals...

Most of my timing on sells has been pretty decent... and there's been a few times I've THOUGHT or overthought about selling and didn't...

Not anymore though... just sold some shares nicely even when an expert said not to... they're down a bit since..

As a writer or artist of any kind it's GOOD TO BE GOOD WITH MONEY...

Many of them aren't... as that's not what art or writing has to be about at all...

But...

Say you're a nice writer... just writing along because you like it...

HARD to make money from it... I have a bit sometimes but need to work on that aspect...

BUT if you are good with money in other areas of your life that gives you more time just to write for art.

I'm doing a few free ten minute financial coaching sessions for a few people I know who've added value to me... yet if you're a good artist I'll consider giving you one too... get in touch...

Yet I think I could get to around that level of song writing or poetry... that's actually a really high level... listened to that song around 100 times...

Perfectly captures how some modern women are...

Still... I reckon I can get to that level or close...

Because overall I am a writer. Not just a share writer or finance writer...

Do you think I grew up reading finance books? Nope very few until I was like about 20... I guess I've read a lot of them since then...

The thing is... JUST talking about finance it's hard to get an interesting style... I've done it in some of my articles... some of them have been edited and overall MOST of the editing has detracted from the style to be honest.

If you look at the share writing in 2017 and 2018 that was the case... will go into that in more detail in private if you're interested...

Have to say overall that the editing in the Fool articles... I can see why they did that in some ways... and some of it made it a bit better...

Still... when you've been writing as long as I have you don't really need much editing. Certainly when I'm writing fiction or anything 'non factual'... (lols)... none is needed once I've double checked it...

It's like I will blast it out... sometimes edit it a bit... although that can alter the flow...

Would much rather blast it out... be one or two mistakes which I will edit after publishing...

Ha... I've actually edited this post a bit to add to it...

Still writing a share book yet have a lot of other things to deal with... UK needs to get back to normal ASAP and action must be taken by people here to make it so...

Sure, money isn't the only thing in the world. I think of it just as a score in a computer game...

However it seems a lot of people are playing the game... so you might as well play it...

You do need money to live...

Have a look at how much money you have now. Then set yourself a FINANCIAL GOAL of what you want to reach by a CERTAIN DATE.

From 2011 to 2020 I actually did this myself and posted it on the net... without being specific on the net about the amount... yet I knew myself.

So what you want to do is phrase it as I WANT TO MAKE THIS AMOUNT OR MORE by a certain date. This gives you a target to reach... you can give yourself 10/10 if you reach this target... yet you can also make MORE.

Quick post here... have to say this...

Freedom of speech is VITAL and has been hard fought for.

What a lot of big tech people are doing a lot currently, and have been doing for years is restricting free speech from people who could be broadly called 'ring wing'...

Not the best term for them really...

The 'left wing' people... they seem to be allowed to say what they want...

As long as someone is not actually directly threatening violence or something as extreme as that (which Trump did NOT do look at the facts) they should be allowed to say what they want.
