I am sad to hear of Paul's passing.
The world is so surreal... I kind of felt Paul was/would be gone from the world soon and now I've learned today he died a few weeks ago.
I had some coaching from Paul. He was a strong player and I think he was a kind man- I know he coached other young players. The chess coach in my novel is called Paul.
In 2004 when I was researching my novel I know he beat IM Sam Collins in rapidplay. I learned from him. RIP Paul.
