 With chess honestly you can get just as much joy playing online as in real life if it's a nice game.... I was a bit like Adams in my last game even though my opponent was not GM...

If you're doing OTB chess it's not just about your OTB chess ability at all... it's whether you've got the time/money to get to the tourn etc....

Online is more pure and quick in a way... if not cheating it is pure chess ability...

A mix of OTB and online is fine though and of course I've done plenty of both....

There are good things and bad things about getting older..... but you understand more as you grow older I believe.....

Update... I am probably booked up for Hudds town on Friday... Yet I understand that some of things I like doing most are in effect working for myself in a way... writing, coaching... Lots of ways to make money... Overall I probably should work on increasing my in person value more... I am doing :)
